Important info to alcohol exhibitors
Important points for those who exhibit alcohol at GastroNord:
1. Submit a list of the alcohol you should have in the stand
It is Mässrestauranger AB that has the dispensing permit in the exhibition hall and they therefore need to get a list of the alcohol you will have in the stand. You can find the form you need to fill out here or in Event Planner. Deadline: Tuesday, October 6.
2. Submit an invoice on the alcohol
Mässrestauranger AB must "buy" the alcohol you intend to bring to the fair such as tasting, display samples etc. The deliveries of the drinks do not physically take place to Mässrestauranger, you can bring them to the stand yourself. Mässrestauranger AB will have acceptable monitoring of the area during the exhibition days.
Financially, this should be included in the Mässrestaurangers accounts, which is why we ask you to send them an invoice (see invoice example
here).
For the sake of simplicity, Mässrestauranger AB have decided an amount of SEK 5,000 + VAT, regardless of the number of bottles. Please send the invoice to
accounts@massrestauranger.se no later than
Tuesday October 6.
After the fair, they will send you an invoice for serving service at the same amount. In this way, no expense arises for anyone.

If you, as an exhibitor, do not have a company with a wholesale alcohol license, the alcohol must be customs duty entered into the country by such a company. Please read point number three.
3. Imports of alcohol
Exhibitors that don´t hold a Swedish license to wholesale alcohol must have all alcoholic beverages cleared by Swedish customs. Customs clearance can only be made by a license holding company. The company that can assist exhibitors at GastroNord is Herdenstam Vinhandel.

4. Special regulations for alcohol samples
As an exhibitor with alcohol it´s very important to take coupons in exchange for alcohol samples. An expensive wine is to be paid with more coupons than a less expensive, you set the price yourself.
The visitors will buy coupons in advance, 5 coupons for SEK 150 including a wineglass and a spittoon, and then leave one or more coupons for an alcohol sample at your stand.
Save all the coupons, after the fair you´ll return them to Stockholmsmässan and get SEK 9,60 back for each returned coupon (excl VAT). Read more about this under point number 7 or Return of coupons in

Exceptions to take a coupon for a taste sample can be done, however, only for those visitors who have a symbol in the form of a wine glass on their badge.
Those who don´t have the symbol on their badge must always pay taste samples with one or more coupons.
Age limit 18 years
For buying the coupons and to taste alcohol samples there is an age limit: 18 years.
Our recommendation of alcohol sample:
Spirit: 2 cl
Wine: 5 cl
Beer: 10 cl
At GastroNord it´s permitted to serve alcohol from 10.00 am.
5. Order wine glasses, ice and spittoons
Do you need wineglasses and spittoons for your stand? Order them in advance, no later than Thursday, October 8 and have them delivered to your stand.
Price for the purchase of wine glasses is SEK 10 / pcs and spittoons SEK 3 / pcs (excluding VAT). Icebag 10 kilos SEK 100. You get the ice at scullery room, stand no C06:41.
Pre-ordered wine glasses and spittoons are delivered to your stand in the mornings before the fair opens.
If you need to order wine glasses, ice or spittoons on site, during the fair days, do so in the scullery room, C06:41, at GastroNord.

Wineglasses, spittons and ice are billed after the fair.
6. Alarmed wine storage
In hall C there is an alarmed wine storage that you can use if desired. The stand number is C23: 20.
